NORTH TARANAKI HUNT
A SUCCESSFUL MEET. The second meet of the season was held yesterday at Bell Block, when the j members of the North Taranaki Hunt Club had some of the finest hunting country in the district placed at their disposal by Mr. Harold Street. The I hares in the next run eluded the pack I for two-and-a-half miles, and in the third the hunt covered three miles. The jumping was excellent, and there was [ not a single fall. The huntsman, Mr. A. At the conclusion of the sport the whole assemblage repaired to the homestead, where Mr. Harold and Miss Street provided refreshments in plenty. Street, that she was prevented by illness from being present, and expressed on her behalf the hope that they would have a successful season. Mr. Halcombe thanked Mr. and Miss Street for their kiud hospitality, and expressed the good wishes of the club towards Mrs. Street, who is a keen supporter of the club.
