CHARING CROSS BANK
ALLEGED FALSE PROSPECTUS.

Carpenter, proprietor of the Charing Cross Bank, is being charged with having obtained £SOO two days before his bankruptcy by means of an alleged false prospectus. The prosecution stated that there were 18,006 creditors. Accused has been remanded, bail of £IO,OOO being forthcoming.
