Mr. John Murray, the publisher, referring to the Canadian Copyright Bill, said there was a manufacturing clause in tha Australian Act of 1005 which would presumably come into force if the British Bill became law. If the other self-governing parts of the Empire followed suit it would be disastrous for British authors.
