Wnrbriok, of Rotoura, received a cable from a firm in London asking him if it were possible to send a company of Maoris, comprising 50, and including Maori carvers, to England for the Coronation, and to reply forthwith. Mr. Warbrick set to work, and spent many hours with the natives at Whakarewarewa, with the result that a cable 'vas sent on Tuesday to the effect that a troupe would be available. The cable reecived by Mr. Warbrick stated that the passages of the company would be arranged for, and as there will be a steamer leaving Sydney on May 3, it is proposed that the troupe leave by that vessel. This will be about the latest date on which they can leave to ensure their being in London for the Coronation, and Mr. Warbrick is making arrangements accordingly.
