Rebels are concentrating at Aguaprieta with the intention, apparently, to hold the town against the Federals, and also to make it the headquarters for future operations. The Federal forces are combining to the southward. Evidently they propose to advance on Aguaprieta. A HINT FROM WASHINGTON. Washington, April 15. A report from Douglas states that in consequence of complaints of killing and wounding American citizens in Thursday's battle at Aguaprieta. President Taft is making representations to the Federal and insurrectionary leaders that they must fight future battles at a greater distance from the frontier. BRITISH BLUEJACKETS LANDED. New York, April 15. A report has been received by the State Department that the British sloop Shearwater landed thirty bluejackets and a maxim gun at Sanquetin, Mexico, to protect, the town ajrainst a threatened attack by rebels, which, however, did not materialise. The bluejackets were withdrawn.
