THE WAREHOUSE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Warehouse Football Club was held last evening. Mr. Trebilcoe presided. The report and balance-sheet showed that the club was l successful in winning the Sole Cup, I which had been presented to the Sat-, urday Association for competition. Last year tlareceipts were £4 7s Gd, and the expenditure £4 12s lOd, leaving a debit balance of 5s 4d. The committee wished to thank the Press for their reports of the matches last season, and also the referees, to whom the players were indebted for the duties which they performed. Owing to pressure of work, Mr. Boucher had been compelled to resign his position as hon. secretary. The report was adopted. Officers were elected as follows: President, Mr. J. D. Sole; vice-presidents, Messrs. Day, G. Ramson, Newton King, C. H. Burgess, M. Fraser, F. S. Johns, R. McQuade, W. R. Johns, J. D. Scott; secretary, Mr. S. Okey; selection committee, Messrs. McLaren, McAllum and field captain; management committee, Messrs. Pilcher, Simmers, Trebilcoe, Stohr, and secretary and captain ex officio; delegate to the Saturday Association, Mr. Dewar. It was unanimously resolved that the club's delegate to the Saturday Association vote for affiliation with the Taranaki Rugby Union. Regret was expressed at the removal to Waitara of Mr. W.'-R. Johns, who had been captain of the club for the past two years, and had also been a most enthusiastic supporter of the club. It was mainly due to his efforts that the Saturday Association had been formed. The season will be opened on Saturday, April 22nd. Votes of thanks to the retiring officers, Referees' Association, and all who had assisted the club, terminated the meeting.
