THE OPUNAKE CLUB. | There was a very encouraging at- j tendance present at the annual meeting on Saturday night, about twenty persons being present. Mr. O'Sullivan was voted to the chair. Sixteen new members were elected. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr. M. J. Brennan; president, Mr. R. Malcolm; vice-presidents. Messrs. J. Ilickey, J. Macfic, W. K. Connell, T. Knowles, Clouston, J. Connell, F. Julian, G. Hammond, J. Burton, G. Manaia, M. Bishop, R. Moriri, H. Holmes, A. J. Taylor, H. Cantle, F. DesForges, W. C. Dudley, F. W. Mason, Willoughby, J. Duggan, M. Deegan; secretary, Mr. A. Gray; treasurer, Mr. C. Connell; auditor, Mr. IC. Cannell; club captain, Mr. W. Waswo; general committee, Messrs. D. O'Sullivan, J. Fqrsyth, J. Sievcwright, J. Martin, G. Bayiiss; ground committee, Messrs. O'Sullivan, Sievcwright, J. Parsons. It was decided to elect a field captain on the ground on the date of the first cup match, The annual subscription was, fixed at five shillings. It was decided to have an opening day on 15th April, when a practice game will be played.
