The Rarawa brought from Onehunga yesterday morning 61 tons of cargo, including 12 tons of flour, 3 tons of sugar, 20 tons of cement, and 230 cases of fruit. RED FUNNEL ENTERPRISE. NEW HOTEL AT SUVA. The hotel at present being built in Suva, Fiji, by the Union Steam Ship Company, promises to be a most imposing one, situated in beautifully laid ,out grounds. The verandahs and balconies surrounding it, loft, wide, will give every opportunity to visitors to view the attractive' environments bf the town. There will be accommo. dation • for fifty persons. Mr. C. D. Hall, the contractor, is now in Suva, and as the work is being pushed on as speedily as possible,, it is anticipated the hotel will be ready during next year's tourist season. Messrs. Salmond and Vanes, of Dunedin, are the architects for the building. The Union i Company's manager at Suva is Mr. G. H. Morgan, formerly of New Plymouth. Mr. Newton King, local agent for the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co., has received advice that the Tainui, en route to Wellington, arrived at Hobart at 2 a.m. yesterday, one day ahead of schcd- ( ule time.
