A POLICEMAN'S TROUBLES. Loudon, April 10. A sentence of three months' imprisonment on a man named Hodgson on a charge of having assaulted Henthorn, an unpopular member of the police, lea to a riot at Silsden. The police were reinforced, and used their batons in dispersing the mob. Constable Henthorn has now been transferred to another position. A petition has been presented to Mr. Churchill, asking for an inquiry into the conduct of the police, also demanding Hodgson's release. BAKERS AND GROCERS. London, April 10.
