THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FUND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. This afternoon Mr. Hugh J. Ward and Mis! Grace Palotta and the members of Mr. Ward's company were tendered a public reception at the Town HaH by the citizens of Wellington in recognition of their services in helping the children's hospital fund last year. The Mayor presided over the gathering, at which there were about 3000 persons. Mr. Ward was presented with an illuminated address, and Mr. Ward and Miss Palotta; each received souvenir tablets bearing a sketch of the new hospital in silver, while each member of the company was presented with a photograph of the address to Mr. W T ard, which is surrounded by. photographs of the members of the company. The proceedings were very enthusiastic.
