FIRES.
A LAUNDRY DESTROYED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. A steam laundry at Waknea, an old building which was still in use pending the erection of a new structure, Was destroyed by fire this morning. The cause is unknown, but many people are minus a large porportion of their clothing in consequence of the fire. Insurances were £4OO on the building and £3OO on the machinery and plant in the New Zealand Office, If your property Is not insured call at or ring np the Doited Insurance -Company, Ltd., Devon-stneet.
