MR. MASSEY IN OTAGO. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Roxburgh, Last Night. Mr. Massey, leader of the Opposition, left Dunedin this morning, and arrived at Roxburgh in the evening, having! come by coach from Lawrence. In the evening Mr. Massey delivered an address to a large audience in the Athe»eum Hall. Dr. Gilmour, Mayor of Roxburgh, presided. The speaker was accorded a patient hearing, his remarks being punctuated with applause, and at the conclusion he received a hearty vote of thanks. The address was somewhat on the lines of previous addresses delivered in Canterbury. The speaker eriticised the Government's land policy and also its methods of finance, and adversely commented on the heavy borrowing which had been practised since the present Government came into power. He will speak at Alexandra on Saturday night.
