THE FRENCH DENUNCIATION QUALIFIED. By Cable—Prtss Association—Copyright. Paris, April 0. M. Augagneur, who complained in the Chamber of the Presbyterian missionaries' interference in the administration of the New Hebrides, admitted that the missionaries had won the sympathies of the natives by their social work. He said that additional facilities should be given to colonists to obtain labor. French colonists, who outnumbered the British, showed better agricultural results, but the British had the better administration.
