NEW PLYMOUTH. Mails will close (subject to alteration) at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as follows: For Wellington and South, also Auckland and North, daily, per mail train, at 6.15 a.m. SATURDAY, APRIL 8. For Australian States (via Auckland), at fi.ls a.m. MONDAY, APRIL 10. For Auckland and North, also Rarotonga and Tahiti, per Rarawa, at 7 P-m. ,L'»; :! % TUESDAY, APRIL 11. " ' For Fiji, Honolulu, Canada, United States, Central America, West Indies, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (due London May 10), via Vancouver, at 0.15 a.m. WEDXESDAY, APRIL 12. For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Eastern and Mediterranean ports, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Brindisi (due London Mav 22). at 0.15 a.m. THURSDAY, APRIL 13. For Auckland and North, per Rosamond, about noon. FRIDAY, APRTL 13. On account of Good Friday being a holiday, no mails will be closed on this date. Late fee letters for north may be posted as usual in late-fee letter box at railway station till arrival of mail train, at 7.65 p.m. SATURDAY, APRIL 14. For Australian States, via Auckland, at 0.13 a.m. For Wellington and South, per Rosamond, at 10 a.m. EASTER ,1-lOLIDAYS. The following hours will be observed by the Post and Telegraph Department on Good Friday, April 14, and Easter Monday, April 17:— GOOD FRIDAY. This day will be observed as a Sunday. The Post Office will be closed in all its branches. The.Telegraph Office will observe Sunday hours, namely, from 0.30 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 5 to 5.30 p.m. r The Telephone Exchange will observe Sunday hours, 0 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 0 p.m. Private P.ox Lobby: Sunday hours will be observed. All mails will close at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 13. Railway Travelling Post Office will run , as usual. A delivery of town letters will be made at the Post Office counter on Thursday from 8 p.m. to !1 p.m. EASTER MONDAY. Post Office will be open in all branches (except Money Order and Savings Bank) from 0 a.m. to 10 a.m. only. The Telegraph Office will be open from !) a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. The Telephone Exchange will ooserve usual hours (0 a.m. to midnight). The Private Box Lobby will observe usual hours. Mails usually despatched on Monday will close at 8 a.m. The Railway Travelling Post Office will run as usual.* A delivery of town letters will he made at the Post Office counter on Saturday evening, April 15, from 8 to !l p.m. A.
