ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FATAL OVER-FEEDING. By TeJcgraph.— Press Association. Auckland, Thursday. At the inquest on Charles Melnman, n prisoner who died suddenly in gaol, the evidence showed that death resulted from an over-distended stomach on a heart affected by fatty degeneration. Prisoner, who was employed in the kitchen, was a heavy eater, and his weight increased 211b. in about eight weeks in gaol. After enjoying a good tea he fell back in his cell and died immediately. The verdict was death from natural causes.
