An important notice to occupiers of factories under the Factories' Act appears in our advertising columns. The registration of factories expires on the 31st of March, and re-registration h due on April Ist It should be particularly noted that registration cannot be effected unless the wage sheets are furnished with the application for renewal, and if the forms supplied last year for this purpose are insufficient a further supply will be provided on application to Mr. H. Willis, Inspector of Factories. For occupying unregistered premises as a factory occupiers are liable to a fine of £5 per day. Messrs. Webster Bros, notify that they will offer for sale on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2.30 p.ni., £IOOO worth of jewellery, silver-ware and electro-plated goods and novelties.
On Saturday next at 3.30 p.m., Messrs. Webster Bros, will submit to auction twelve new ladies' and gents' bicycles fitted with all the latest accessories.
