FATALITY AT TE KUITI. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Te Kuiti, Wednesday. While working in the railway ballast pit at the Lake Road Station, near Ohaupo, last evening, two men named George Larnie,,aged 25, and A. Whisker, aged 34, were killed by a fall of earth, and a third man named Charles Davidson was injured. All are single men. OLD WOMAN'S DEATH. Wellington, Wednesday. Mrs. Eugenic Godct, aged eighty, died in the hospital last night In opening the door of her house last week she broke an arm, and as the result of exposure pneumonia set in. This combined with shock caused her death.
