DAILY PAPERS AT SEA,

By Telegraph.—Press Association., Wellington, Last Night. Mr. N. Kelly, wireless operator on the Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa, reported to-day that the vessel was in communication with Sydney the whole way across.

Wellington was spoken last night, and the time of the vessel's expected arrival forwarded.

last night H.M.S. Encounter, which left Sydney on Saturday for Vavau with a scientific party on board, was heard talking with the Cambrian at Lyttelton. On Tuesday the steamer was in communication -with the Australasian Wireless Company's station at the Hotel Australia, Sydney, a distance of 1100 miles, and messages were also intercepted > from the steamer Riverina, which was about 180 miles west of Adelaide, and which was speaking to Sydney. The Ulimaroa Argue was published daily, containing news of the day, anil this morning's issue contained newt of the washing up of wreckage from the Yongala, and the return of the Terra Nova. The result of the Parramatta Hundred was also published, along with other interesting cable news.
