DISTRICT NEWS.
WAIONOONA, (Prom our Own Correspondent). On Friday evening, March 24th, the first dance of the season was held in the schoolroom. The new dance conv mittee are to be congratulated on the success of the function, and the completeness of their arrangements. A good number of dancers were present, and the merry-making was kept up well into the morning. Miss M. and Mr. Leu Henwood provided the music in their usual good style. The euchre .party and dance which had been intended for thi» occasion was announced for April 7th.
