I THE TARANAKJ COMPANY. ' At the Turanaki Petroleum Company's Xo. 3 bore yesterday the staff was successful in cleaning the bore o£ casings for a distance of 17ft. Drilling is now proceeding, and all fear of being unable to get the took to the bottom lae been dissipated. The bora is flowing splendidly. At No. 2 there is nothing fresh to report. At No. 5 good country is being worked and drilling is proceeding at a brisk pace. The company lias extended an invitation to the Hon. T. Mackenzie to visit tho works. Mr. Tisch has been asked to cordially invite the old settler® who are present in New Plymouth to visit the field. Buy preference sTiarpg at once.
