THE TEAM FOR SYDNEY. The Taranaki team to visit Sydney will leave here on April 7, catching the Malieno at Auckland, leaving there on the 10th. The team will be comprised of:New 'Plymouth: M. Fraser. A. D. Gray, F. Brooking, S. Hooker, W. L. Perry, W. N. Ewing. Hawera.—W. Robertson, F. W. Wilkie, Hansen, G. Syme. Pihama: W. Lambie, sen., and W. Lamtoe, jun. Opunake: W. Dudley, McFie. Waverley: J. Taylor. Eltham: G. Hyde. Several ladies will accompany the party. The New Plymouth Bowling Club proposes to hold a progressive rink tournament on Thursday next, commencing at 10 a.m. Players who wish to take part will please hand in their names to_ the secretary, or to the Match Committee, before six o'clock on Wednesday evening.
