SPANISH STEAMER STRANDED. i By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 27, 11.45 p*m. London March 27. The Spanish steamer Setiembre has been stranded at St. Martin's, Scilly Islands. LIQUIDATION OF FRENCH CHURCH PROPERTY. Received 27, 10.10 p.m. Paris, March 27. It is estimated that the net yield from the liquidation of the property of the religious orders will be £1,200,000. "ALL BRITISH SHOPPING." Received 27, 10.10 a.m. London, March 27. The Lord Mayor at the Mansion House to-day inaugurated the "All British shopping" period. If it proves a success the question of making it an annual fixture will be considered. Many shops are decorated with the Union Jack and bunting. WRECK OF THE ROSEDALE. Received 28, 12.40 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. The Marine Court found that n« blame was attachable to anyone in connection with the wreck of the steamer Rosedale on January 12th. The evidence indicated that the mishap was due to the except'onal large rollers causing a bump in the river. RIOTERS FINED. Received 28, 12.40 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. Two men were fined for participating in the buck-jumping show riot.
