THE MISSING YONGALA
STILL NO TfDINfiS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 28, 12.40 a.m. Brisbane, March 27. There are no tidings of the Yongala. Altogether there are ahout a hundred and fifty souls aboard, including the ship's company, numbering seventy-two. Several steamers, including three Government vessels, are continuing the search. Knight, the captain of the Yongala, is an experienced oflicer, and the belief is expressed that he either ran for the open sea to escape a cyclone, or possibly the machinery is damaged and the ves- | sol sheltering inshore. The coast is intricate, and will require close searching.
