WOMAN AND CHILD BURNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Friday. Through an explosion of benzine the residence of D. Blackburn, Weikawa, was destroyed by fire last night., Mrs. Blackburn, who was in delicate health, and a young son perished in the flames. DEATH FROM BURNS. Dunedin, Friday. Mrs. George Matheson, a resident of Hampden, died from injuries sustained in a fire at her husband's premises yesterday.
