In the Chaffinch mine cases one witness, referring to a certain share transaction, said that he considered mere was nothing dishonorable in bulling or bearing the' share market. De Rose, representative of the Yilgaru Development Syndicate, detailed a conversation with Greenway in December, wherein the latter expressed the opinion that the mine had been salted. His reasons for this opinion were that specimens taken from the trench contained hornblende, which was not present on the property.
