FRIENDLY MATCH. A team of nine men from New Plymouth journeyed to lnglewood yesterday, picked up two local men, and were beaten by the lnglewood team on the first innings by 78 to 28. Gudgeon was in fine form with the ball, and secured seven wickets for six runs. The combined team batted again, and totalled 121 for eight wickets when stumps wer# drawn.
