THE AMERICAN MOBILISATION. THE REAL REASON AT LAST. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copvrisrht. New York, March 10. It is now stated that the object of the mobilisation of American troops on the Mexican border is to stop the revolution. Mexico, however, will object to an invasion. FURTHER NEWS OF THE MOBILISATION. Received 12, 5.5 p.m. New York, March 11. The mobilisation of troops is almost completed. The American forces are ordered to maintain a passive attitude in regard to everything except the preservation of United States neutrality. A GRAVE SITUATION. Received 13, 12.30 a.m. Mexico City, March 12. The Government has gazetted a suspension of constitutional guarantees, and a mild form of martial law is in vogue. The situation is regarded as grave. Washington, March 12. J. A. Bryce, suspected of complicity in the Los Angeles Times outrage, was arrested when crossing the Mexican border. AUSTRALIANS LOOKING FOR FIGHT. Received 13, 12.30 a.m. Washington, March 1L A resident of Wonthiaggi, in Victoria, Australia, offers a troop of 500 veteran riflemen for revolutionary service in | Mexico, risking the consequences.
