Competitors for all events, excepting Nos. 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13, and 16, must have resided within the boundaries of the Clifton Football District for at least three months prior to date of Sports. Events 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13 and 10 are open. Nominations close with the secretaries on February 25; handicaps declared March 4. All events run under the Taranaki Caledonian and Athletic Association rules. Competitors for No. 12 must have resided within the boundaries formed by the Onaero river 'on the south and the Mimi and Mangamaeho river on the north, for at least three months prior to date of sports. A points prize for Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 16, 16 and 19 will be given, points to count 5, 3 and 1. Medal valued at £2 2s.
