DANNEVIRKE RACES. FIRST DAY. By Telegraph.—Pi-ens Association. Dannevirke, Last Night. The weather was beautifully line, there was a large attendance, and the track was in excellent condition. The racing was good. The ten-shilling tote proved a great success, and the sum ol £9430 passed through the machines, as against £OO4B on the lirst day of the last autumn meeting. Results: Hack Hurdles—Marton 1, Waiputere 2, Waikaraka 3. Also started: Millenial, Burton, Astraea. Won by a short head. Time, 3iuin 17 l-ssec. Makirikiri Hack.—Allurement 1, Miss Sylvia 2, Birkline 3. Also ran: San Lass, Fond Memory, Composed, Passademi, Fionaere. Won by two lengths. Time, linin 15sec.
