To-day has been a busy day with the semi-final match of the championship, which decides the 50 to lire in the King's Match to-morrow. This match also decides the Bislcy aggregate. There were also three service teams matches taken, of which two, for the Colonial Ammunition Company's Cup and the Sectional Firing match, were completed, but the prize-lists nre not yet available. Sliarland, by the aid of his 90 in the Taranaki Match, came up from fifty-eighth place to fourth place, and there were several other changes. To-morrow will he a busy day. The championship will be taken in the afternoon, but it is highly improbable that the meeting will conclude till Friday. Lady Islington will present the prizes, and the Governor and General Godley are expected to make important speeches. The principal prize-winners in the Attack Match, in which the flrers advance and fire from 400 yds to 300 yds at a figure target, three shots at each distance, any position, were: Chapman (Te Kapu), £5, 4a, with four bulls; Eden (Waimca), £4, 45, three bulls; Hartnell (Taranaki), £3, 45; Ching, £3, 40, three bulls. Thirty-three receive £1 each, and thirty-four 10s prizes, and three win 6s prizes. The principal prize-winners in the Special Prize Match, 800 yds to 300 yds, seven shots, men to advance and fire at intervals of from 40 to 70 yards, were? Marenzi (Eketohuna), Eden (Waimca), Duthic (Christchurch), Fisher (Wellington), Holben (Greymoutb), Senior (Coromandel), Ballinger (Petone), each £2 Ms, seven hits each; Cox (Auckland), Rennie (Wcstport), Groves (Alfredton), Ching (Lyttclton), Clifton (Active List), Blanchard (Taranaki), Croxton (Wellington), Millroy (Nelson), Winslade (Opaki), Beattie (Taumarunui), Kelly (Invercargill), Comes (Ohinemurf), Hollard (Hutt), Harding (Blenheim), each £1 3«, with six hits each.
The principal prize-winners in the Taranaki Hatch, 900 yds and 1000 yds, ten shots, were: Sharland (Stoke), £5, 96;' Roots (Kaponga), £2, 49; Senior (Coromandel), Lang (Waimangaroa), Nicholas (Marlborough), Duthie (Christchurch), Marenzi (Eketahuna), Doran (Auckland), Chapman (Te Kapu), Steenson (Auckland), £2 each. For the Colonial Ammunition Company'a .Shield, which carries the Rifle Clubs' Team Championship of New Zealand, the following arc the loading teams: Linton, 2105; Opaki, No. 1, 2101; Ohura, 2095. ,; The principal prize-winners in the Bisley aggregates, in the 700 yds, 900 yds, and 1000 yds championship series, are: Roots (Kaponga), £5, 275; Sharland (Stoke), £4, 270; Marenzi (Eketahuna), £4, 269; Chapman (Tckapu), £3, 264; Cunningham (Wanganui), Henderson (Sounds), Simmons (Waitohi), Ballinger (Petone), each £2 10s, 264.
