AUCKLAND v. HAWKE'S BAY. VISITORS' POOR SHOWING. By Telepfrwph.—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday Night. The Hawke's Bay v. Auckland representative cricket match was continued here to-day in dull weather, before a meagre attendance. Auckland, with four wickets down for 334, carried tile first innings score to 470, the additional large contributors being Taylor (nfl). and Sneddon (41). Board's wicket-keeping was a feature of the innings. Creed was the most successful bowler. \ Hawke's Bay's first innings was a rout, the whole side being out' for 28, of which total 13 were extras. Pearson, the English professional, took six wickets for 10 runs, and Kerr two for five. Hawke's Bay followed on. The second innings has been more profitable, thu side having made 154 for seven wickets at drawing of stumps. The highest scorers were Board 20, Smyrk 30, Hindmarsh 43, Bailey 22. L.
