Manitoba grain-growers declare there is a feeling throughout the provinces in favor of reciprocity. The growers demand an increase in British preference of 60 per cent.

'IN THE AMERICAN CONGRESS. Received 5, 5.5 p.m. York, March 4. Congtess has voted that the session shall end on Saturday. Mr. Taft has announced that the new session will probably be commenced on March 15.

CONGRESS MEETS IN APRIL. Received 6, 12.20 a.m. Washington, March 6. Congress has closed without the Reciprocity Bill heing touched. The Senate passed the Permanent Tariff Board Bill, but the Democrats, by obstructive tactics in the Lower House, killed the measure. Mr. Taft has called the special session of Congress for April 4. Reciprocity will be the sole item on its programme.
