Baron Vincent Pateino grievously wounded himself with a revolver in a private room of the Rome Hotel after having there killed with a hunting knife the Sicilian Countess Guilia Trigona, lady-in-waiting at the Italian Court, who had met him by appointment, and who was recently separated from her husband.
