KILLED BY A TREE. By TeligTtfk.—Preas Association. Nelson, Wednesday. A Murchison road contractor named William Brooks was struck by a falling tree at Lake Rotorua on Monday, and died before the doctor arrived. A BODY FOUND. Christchurch, Last Night. The body of a man about 30 years of age, so far unidentified, was fourid drowned at Port Levy yesterday morning. Apparently the body had been in the water for about two weeks. It is believed that the man went to Lyttelton from Christchurch some weeks ago, walked round Lyttclton harbor and stayed at the liotel at Governor's Baj, where he told the people that he had been ill.
