GERMANS SENTENCED. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. London, February 28. Karl Iluessener was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, John Schrooder to four months', and John Wigglesworth Ward to a month, at Newcastle assizes, for having attempted to bribe the agent of the Thermal Syndicate, Wallsend, to disclose the method of manufacturing silica, and other information, in the interest of German companies.
