The Federal Government has agreed to pay Father Shaw's wireless operators in the search for Mr. Staniforth Smith and party, and has instructed the Administrators of Papua to confer with Father Shaw as to the best means of disposing of the various sets of apparatus. The Government, in accepting, says it recognises the generosity and great value of Father Shaw's offer.
