During the performance of Henry Bernstein's new play, "Apres Moi," at the Comedie Francaise, a wild scene occurred as the result of the anti-Semitic disturbance arising out of Bernstein's confession that he deserted from the French army thirteen years ago. As an outcome of the rioting twenty-six arrests have been made, and Bernstein has issued three challenges for duels.
