A boy in a punt came along, and was assisting to get the canoe to shore when he saw Mr. Orr's.body beneath. It is assumed that by some means the canoe overbalanced, and Mr. Orr was , unable to extricate himself. When the body was got ashore" artificial respiration was tried for over an hour, but without avail, and when the medical man who was sent for as soon as the fatality was discovered arrived, all he could do was to pronounce life extinct.
