FESTIVAL OF EMPIRE
XKW ZEALAND ATHLETES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At a conference of representatives of the various athletic and spurts bodies of Wellington, held to-night to consider means of raising funds to secure representation of New Zealand at the Empire Sports Festival, the <;hairman stated that at least .C-KlO would be required to linance a team of three men. About £l5O was already in hand. It was decided that the meeting should resolve itself into a committee of ways and means, and that the secretary eommuniciite With other centres, invoking their aid. It was also decided to cable lo Australia asking for definite information as to representation desired.
