GAOL-BREAKERS SENTENCED
FIVE YEARS' "HARD." By Gable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 21, 11 p.m. Sydney, February 21. Denmead and Mack, the Darlinghurst gaol-breakers, were charged with stealing and entering, and were sentenced each to five years' hard labor. On the charge of gaol-breaking they received an additional twelve months, the sentences to be concurrent. A brother of Denmead was sentenced to six months' imprisonment on a charge of receiving.
