DEPUTATION TO THE MINISTER. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, February 21. Other requests included that the maximum salary be paid after twenty years' service. Mr. Thomas, in promising consideration of the requests, declared that he thought the examinations should be made still'er, in order to get the most efficient service. Liter, the Victorian Post and Telegraph Association interviewed the Minister with respect to grading. The association accepted an invitation to formulate a scheme to be considered in conjunction with that being devised by the Deputy Postmaster-General.
