KAIMIRO. (From Our Own Correspondent). The school picnic was held on Friday last. The weather was fine, but smoky, there was a good attendance. Races for the school children were got off during the day mid lolly scrambles indulged in. I think everyone went home well satisfied with the day's outing. The hall wis afterwards cleared for dancing, the '""Ming being packed. The music was supplied by Messrs A. J. Taylor T Unit, and F. Schicker. Both the' concert and dance were very .successful. Another concert will be held about the end of Much, when the prizes will be presented to the school children. Mr W. Klweniiirk, our school committee chairman, is leaving us for a wellearned holiday, going to the Old Conntr # >. The fires arc very bad around us jnst now. The Sash and Door Co. lost two bridges and about 20 chains of tram-line. Mr. .]. Lolirke arrived home last week tiom Wellington with his bride.
