PUBLIC HEALTH DIPLOMA.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. It is understood that a diploma of public health will shortly be institute! at the Otago University. The regul* tions in connection therewith, recently forwarded by the Otago University Council to the University Senate, have been approved, and the Senate has recommended that the necessary powers be sought from Parliament to enable the diploma to be granted. The diploma will be open to medical men who have been registered for twelve months or more, and the regulations will be on th« lines of those laid down in England.
