AN AIRMAN'S ESCAPE
FELL INTO A RIVER. By Cable—Press Association— Copyright Received 18, 1.3 a.m. ; New York, February 17. Morex, an aviator, fell into the Hudson river, owing to his aeroplane motor stopping in mid-air. The aeroplane struck a schooner's insist. Thousands were watching. Morex sank, freed himself from the wrecked machine, and a launch rescued him.
