A SUDDEN DEATH. f By Telegraph.—Press Association. Carterton, Tuesday. Ivy Bairstow, tile wife of William Bairstow, died in her sleep last night. About midnight she was speaking to her husband, and said in reply to a question that she was all right, but when the hnsband awoke in the morning he found that his wife was dead at his side. Deceased had been in a weak state of health for some years. DYNAMITE ACCIDENT. Nelson, Last Night. A man named George Edward had his right hand blown off by dynamite at Owen Junction yesterday. He was taken to Muichison for medical attention.
