ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A FATAL OVERDOSE. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Waihi, Last Night, i Sophia Ellis, wife of A. T. Ellis, electrical instructor at the Waihi School of Mines, died at the W'aihi hospital last evening under unusual crcumstances. Ic appears that deceased, who was suffering from rheumatism, inadvertently look an overdose of sodium salicylate previous to her admission to the hospital.
A BOY FATALLY KICKED. Dunedin, Last Night. A boy named Oswald Shepherd, three years of age, was kicked on the head by a liorse at Evansdale on Saturday, lie succumbed to his injuries yesterday. THE CHlll STCHURCH TRAGEDY. Christchurch, Last Kight. The police report that there are no further developments in the mystery concerning the death of the woman Ethel Bradley, vviiose body was found in a right-of-way off Cashel street on Wednesday last. J FOUND DROWNED. Christchurch, Last Night. At an inquest held to-day on the body of Terence Mcllugh, 71 years of age, who was found drowned in the Waimakariri near White's Bridge on Sunday morning, a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned.
