THE HENUI BRIDGE

LOCAL BODIES CONSENT. The following are the conditions of agreement between the Taranaki County Council and the .Yew Plymouth Borough Council in relation to the re-erection of the bridge on the Junction road over the Henui river:— 1. The County shall proceed with the erection of a new bridge and making approaches thereto as per plans and specifications already prepared by Messrs Orhell and Mackay. 2. The total contribution payable bv the borough as an adjacent authority in respect of the works above mentioned shall be the sum of £OOO payable by six annual instalments of £IOO each the first payment to be made before March 31st, 1912. 3. The County agrees that it will not ask the borough to contribute towards the cost of re-erecting any other bridge in the Moa riding of Taranaki County which the County have in their present contemplation to re-erect 4. The borough shall not be liable to contribute towards the repair or rebuilding of the said bridge (oil the Junction road) within a period of ten vears from the completion thereof. 5. This agreement is subject to confirmation by the New Plymouth Borough Council and laranaki County Council respectively.
