The last day of the New Zealand swimming championships to-day was favored by line weather, and there was an attendance of about 1500. Results: 220 Yards Championship.— M. 15. Champion (Auckland) 1, C. Welson (Auckland) 2, B. C. Freyberg (Wellington) 3. R. ITealy (Wellington) was fourth, and J. Dawson (Dunedin) fifth. Time, 2min 39sec.; a record. 100 Yards Scratch Race.—C. Brice (Wellington) 1, G. .Seymour (Napier) 2, F. Roberts (Wellington) 3. A splendid race, Brice winning by a narrow margin. Time, 03 l-ssec.; a New Zealand record. 880 Yards Championship—M. E. Champion (Auckland) 1, F. Seymour (Napier) 2. C. .Welson (Auckland) 3. .Times: Champion. 12miri 18 3-ssec.;. Seymour, 12min 28 2-ssec.; and Welson, 12min 40 l-ssec.; all New Zealand records. Wafer Polo.—Final: Canterbury A. beat Wellington A. by two goals to one.
