AUSTRALASIAN SWIMMERS. j By Telegraph.—Press Association. i Wellington, Saturday. A conference of delegates represent- f ing the various swimming associations was held to-day to discuss the question of having New Zealand represented in the swimming contests at the Festival of Empire. A letter was read from Sydney stating that it was suggested a team of seren men should be sent to represent Australia and New Zealand. The team would require to be in England at latest by April 21. The conference decided that the association should do its best towards the movement for having Australasian satisfactorily represented at the festival.
