One of the crew, Ankee Katola, who was afloat, grasped a boat paddle, and with it swam fifteen miles to Lcgendre, where he was rescued by a pearler yesterday. Tie hail been without food and drink for three days, and was very exhausted and lacerated. Katola is a Russian, and unable to speak English, hut from what can he gathered, he saw nothing of his shipmates after the foundering of the vessel, and very little hope is entertained of the safety of any of them. Experts are of opinion that the ore was not stowed to the best ndvantage. and when the squall struck the barque the cargo shifted. The coast in the vicinity will he searched for possible survivors.
